Stallion/Mare Breeders Incentive (S/MBI)
S/MBI is a program for stallion AND mare owners to promote their talented offspring. It does not matter what your horses were originally bred for, great bred athletes generally are received in one performance arena or another. And now there is one more arena where additional Life Time Earnings and value can be added to those great ahtletes and their sires and dams.
Ask any great roper what they depend on most and unanimously it will be a great horse. Then ask them how hard it is to find those horses and how difficult it is to truly evaluate their capability and value in an hour in the practice pen. As with any equine athlete that evaluation gets a lot easier when you can prove their capability through lifetime earnings.
Become the foundation for successful rope horse genetics. Incentivize your stallion(s), mare(s) and their offspring today!
Incentive program pays as follows:
- Stallion owners will receive 15% of S/MBI purses for winning offspring.
- Mare owners will also receive 15% of S/MBI purses for their winning offspring.
- S/MBI offspring owner that wins S/MBI purses shall receive 70% of the purse.
- Stallion nomination fees are $500 annually.
- Mare nomination fees are $125 annually.
- Offspring nomination fees are $275 for the year of eligibility.
Horses may be nominated one year prior to their eligibility for competition. Example: For the S/MBI 5 year old event, the sire and/or dam of the offspring may be nominated in January of their offsprings 4 year old year.
For the S/MBI 6/7 year old event, the sire and/or dam of the offspring may be nominated in January of their offsprings 5 or 6 year old year.
This program will begin in 2012 for eligibility in 2013.
