NTRHA Mission Statement
"The mission of the NTRHA is to provide competitors, owners and breeders of team roping horses the services and tools that will bring them into the prestigious and lucrative western performance horse specialty market."
The NTRHA provides a new event platform for well trained and disciplined equine athletes allowing all performance horse enthusiasts to have another arena in which to promote their horses. This platform is based on a unique maneuver judged and time-to-point conversion system in which rope horses can now compete on a level never before achieved. A set of rules has been established that cannot be affected by personal relationships or opinions and are not subject to interpretation, thereby returning equality to the sport.
All competitive horses are measured by winnings and become desired commodities through their successful heritage. Heading and heeling horses can now achieve equal credibility through a performance based monetary and genetic tracking system which is the foundation of every equine sport. Competitors at every level will have more opportunity to win and excel within their respective divisions. NTRHA services will increase, enhance, encourage and support team roping horse ownership and participation throughout the industry.
