Unregistered Horse Competition Permits.

NTRHA Unregistered Horse Competition Permits are very simple to obtain. When you’re ready, give NTRHA a call and we can take your application over the phone or you can print the application below and send it to NTRHA along with your permit fee. The non-refundable permit fee is $275, once you have paid for your permit and filled out an application NTRHA will then send the permit kit and application to an AAEP Certified Veterinarian of your choice. You will then take your horse to the vet, he/she will pull hair, pull blood, take pictures of all four sides and any markings/scars, mouth your horse for age verification, implant your horse with an RFID chip and he/she will then complete the kit and return it to NTRHA.

Once we have received your kit, we will issue you an NTRHA Unregistered Horse Competition Permit, it will be similar to a set of registration papers. It will have ownership information, horse information, pictures, and his/her personal RFID number attached to the name you have chosen for your horse. You may then enter your horse(s) in NTRHA events and we will track its earnings and show record so he/she will have a definable value. It’s as simple as that! If you have any more questions please feel free to contact Taylor Tune at 817-598-0110 or taylor.tune@ntrha.com.
