NTRHA 5 Year Old Futurity

The NTRHA Head Horse and Heel Horse Futurity is an event for five year olds only. This is the first leg of the NTRHA Triple Crown. The Premier NTRHA Futurity will be held April 28th through May 3rd of 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Expo Square. All breeds can show in the Futurity and must be able to be age verified through breed registration papers, or horses must have been NTRHA permitted. For 2009 only, all five year olds are eligible for competition at the NTRHA Futurity regardless of past show history.

There are 5 sanctioned divisions within the Futurity; Open, Limited Open, Non Pro, Amateur, and Novice Amateur.

NTRHA 8 & Over Challenge

The NTRHA Challenge is the third and final leg of the NTRHA Triple Crown. This event is held for horses 8 years old and over. In other performance horse specialty markets horses are finishing their major event career as 6 year olds. NTRHA believes horses that have been trained and cared for properly and have stayed sound as a result should have the opportunity to continue winning, and being an active part of the NTRHA major event purses. Great horses only become better with age. This event is also open to all breeds of registered horses or horses that carry NTRHA permits obtained at any age.

There are 5 sanctioned divisions within the Futurity; Open, Limited Open, Non Pro, Amateur, and Novice.

NTRHA East/West Conferences

The Conference Championships shows are based on top money earners from each state. Conference championships will carry a multitude of classes in each sanctioned contestant divisions including youth divisions.

NTRHA 6 & 7 Year Old Sweepstakes

The NTRHA Sweepstakes is the second leg of the NTRHA Triple Crown and is held for 6 and 7 year old horses. The Sweepstakes is a continuation of horsemanship and shows the next levels that great rope horses achieve through consistent training, great genetics, and passionate riders. The NTRHA Sweepstakes is unique in that horses have two opportunities to add this championship title and earnings to their resume, but also a second chance at the NTRHA Triple crown. This event is also open to all breeds of registered horses or horses that carry NTRHA permits.

There are 5 sanctioned divisions within the Sweepstakes; Open, Limited Open, Non Pro, Amateur, and Novice Amateur.

NTRHA & NTRHYA World Championships

The NTRHA World Championships invites the top 100 NTRHA head horse and heel horse money earners for the point year in each sanctioned class. Money earned during the World Championships shall count for the total annual earnings. Additionally, purses will be awarded during the show for class winners, go round monies, and any added specialty events. I.e., gelding or mare stakes classes.

NTRHYA World Championships invites the top 40 NTRHYA head horse and heel horse money earners for the point year in each youth sanctioned class.

The NTRHA Legends Club events shall also be held in conjuntion with this event.
